Sulis is the Celtic goddess of healing. Hence the waters at Bath: Aqueous Sulis.

I have it on good authority that Marticia had lost a kitten weeks prior to adopting Sulis (Miss Kitty's Cat House staff said told her he was a she). The first kitten's name: Boudicea (in Celtic pronounced "boo-di-ka).
